Features
The color is black with the silver edge on the stand. Panasonic is known as engineering experts and their designs and frills are always looking for but this model is quite simple and plain looking. The set includes two pair glasses and 3D disk of Avatar. If you want the Netflix then you need to buy $99 wireless LAN adapter. Once you get it then you internet experience becomes quite good as the connection is smooth and worth going for it.
The carton will carry all the essentials of the HDTV like display, stand, screws, AC cord, remote, 2 AA batteries and the English user manual. You can buy glasses without Avatar CD which can be cheaper.
The model is sleek and attractive with the buttons on the left side for the volume and channels. Of course we do not use these buttons as remote control will be there.
Performance
It needs to set up at you home and as per the Panasonic history; it is not at all difficult job. You can go through the manual before you start the set up. Initially it gives you the palette of picture tweaks. Most of the people would like to go for the standard options as they are good enough but in case you want different options for ESPN or for movies then you can always change it.
The sound system is no great but can give the required sound for the system. If you are looking for a movie viewing and football match then this HDTV can give you satisfaction of the great viewing. It scores point for room reflection also. Wi-Fi adaptor can be easily fit into it. This set allows you to do conversion of 2D to 3D as there is very less 3D material in the market. Conversion is smooth and easy and you have to rely on it till you get more content originally made in 3D.
Overall it is great for the price it has been offered along with some excellent features like fantastic viewing of 2D and 3D with great colors and THX option for 2D. The remote can be the high point of the package as it has a decent backlit.
There are some negative points like it does not include net facility and the glasses in the base price but to summarise it is a good deal.
