There was a market rumor that upcoming Motorola phone will have 3D capabilities. The report claimed that the flip over clear screen will be tied to a patent filed by Motorola that will change the way of the touch screen technology. But this was not the case.
The reality is that the cover on the top has a capacity for touch but the actual screen will have resistance technology. The logic behind it is when user opens the phone, he will write on screen with the help of stylus but when it is closed, the cover will allow user touch screen capability. This will work in a country like china as writing with Stylus is easy for Chinese character.
Chinese tech site IT168, Motorola MT810 “North Sea” is made for China and will be arriving in China very soon. The phone will have camera of 5 megapixel with 720p HD video capture, TD-SCDMA network and WAPI support. There is no confirmation about 3D features but some sites still maintains that it has 3D power.
