Sharp has launched two new products in the 3D TV market.  They are both 70 inches.  LE835 series will be available in different sizes ranging 40 inch to 70 inch.  The product is going to hit the market in the month of February, 2011.   Name of the device will be LC-70LE732U3DTV.  The price has not yet declared but the features are.

It will have inbuilt Wi-Fi and some other streaming options like Netflix and VUDU.  It will also allow you to work on the regular internet sites like Face book, twitter and Flickr.  They are also bringing in their new 3D blue ray player range BD-H35U, BD-H25U and BD-H75U in February.

Along with the Blu ray players and 3D TVs, Sharp is also launching their new Sound bars that can be connected to the 3D TV -  CP-USB500. This can be used for the efficient sound.  This can give 3D signals through HDMI and can support audio return channel.  The improved sound quality of your 3D can match with your picture quality.

You cannot enjoy all this stuff of 3D on your home entertainment without moving it into the Smartphone’s right? Sharp is planning to soon bring their autostereoscopic wares during 2011 to the United State shores, and today at CES LG electronics is busy in showing their own prototype. It has got a 4.3inch panel, glasses-free 3D technology (by using the method of parallax barrier) and is embedded in a demo box, and the final goal is just to have it all in a media centric advanced handsets. To be very honest, there are some effects of glasses-free 3D technology, but most of the time we have noticed that there are 2 frames splitting and did not get any video improvement any way. The best section might be the one which did not include any 3D-ification to them. The display on the show was certainly a bright and lucid one. Avoid the break and see what we are actually speaking about.

New Blu-ray players from Sharp released today

Every new technology seems to render the predecessors obsolete, and while it can be tiring (and definitely expensive) to keep up, there’s nothing like showing off a state of the art entertainment system.  With 3D renditions of nearly every movie being released, there’s never been a better time to jump into the movement, and get that tired DVD player out, and a shiny new Blu-ray toy in.  You’re welcome, Sharp.

Sharp has announced the release of three fresh Blu-ray players, and have managed to keep the price very reasonable.  The 3D, Wi-Fi compatible units will start at $249, and can support many popular streaming sites.  YouTube, Netflix, and Pandora are among the sites owners can enjoy, in addition to the ability to play streaming content from local DLNA servers.  The BD-HP75U and BD-HP35U, the upper echelon models, utilize IP control for cohesiveness with mobile applications.  

Loaded with features, the BD line should find itself very popular among price conscious consumers.  For the technology involved, there shouldn’t be too much preventing these units from flying off the shelves.  The goodies alone are enough to make any multi-media junkie salivate, giving Sharp a decent horse in the technological arms race.

Sharp got great news from the FCC when they learned that the SH-12C has been cleared for take-off.  Smartphones are seeing the 3D technology implemented at an incredible rate, so Sharp wanted to make sure that they were getting theirs when it came to the new trend.  When considering the other options on the market, the SH-12C may not match up perfectly, but because it’s an initial release for Sharp, jumping into the 3D water was an important step.

The HTC EVO 3D is probably a more impressive device, as the SH-12C runs noticeably slower.  Further, the 4.2” screen is a bit smaller, and the single core processing unit will likely cause users a bit of frustration.  But, there are some positives here.  First, the 8-megapixel cameras give you the ability to capture 3D content, so those looking forward to that element of a 3D handheld may find this unit intriguing.

With so much interest in the EVO, expect the SH-12C to get more than a few looks.  Likely priced lower because of the weak processor, it could be a great entry point for those curious to see what the 3D element is like in a handheld without forking over the rent money.  What’s the word on it?  Are you interested?

When you first see the Sharp BD-HP35U on the shelf, your first instinct will likely be to assume that you’re looking at a top-flight unit.  After all, it’s priced with all of the other top of the line units, so why wouldn’t it be top of the line?  Um, because the only thing top-notch about this unit is the price tag…

Pulling it out of the box was great!  It looks sleek, and would definitely be a great addition to any entertainment center, but once we started playing around with it, our enthusiasm quickly dissipated.  The applications left quite a bit to be desired, and when it’s compared to other units in the $250-300 price range, it turns out that it’s severely lacking in that department.

It wasn’t quick from the start, either.  It seemed to take quite a bit of time to get to the Menu screens for the discs we played, and in order to watch a flick, we felt that we spent quite a bit of time looking at each other waiting on the player.  Again, priced to be elite doesn’t necessarily guarantee elite quality.  Is it a good player?  Yes, it is.  Is it worth $300 bucks?!  Simple answer:  nope.

American consumers haven’t gotten to see much of the Sharp Aquos, but all of that could be changing in the very near future.  The FCC is taking a look at the submitted diagrams of the CMDA SHI12, and there’s word that it’s already passed, so it looks like we’ll be getting an up close and personal view.  The documents presented to the FCC look a lot like the IS12SH, so we fully expect that this is the model we’ll be getting.  Want to know a bit more about?  Of course you do…

A 3D rear-mounted camera will allow you to capture 3D memories, and of course it’s Bluetooth ready.  If we’re right about which model we’re getting, you’ll also have a 4.2-inch qHD screen and Android 2.3 will be pushing the device.  This is all speculation, as we’ve seen devices move through the FCC but later find themselves unable to land a deal with a large carrier.  However, a device of this magnitude could find quite a few friends on the market.

So, have you upgraded your smartphone lately?  Any interest is giving Sharp’s 3D CMDA SHI12 a shot?  Of course, it’s worth a shot if the price is right, but if it’s going to cost more than your car, there’s a chance it may find itself collecting dust.  We’re into it, and definitely ready to give it a go.  Ok, Sharp, here’s your big chance.  Let’s see what you got…

Smartphones are getting smarter!  That’s the truth, however, are they getting better?  Sharp is making their case for the next generation of smartphones with the Aquos SH-12C 3D smartphone.  This baby will give you a glasses-free 3D experience, and runs Android, just in case you have already fallen in love with the platform.

Dual cameras help you capture some 3D also, which makes for quite a bit of fun when capturing all the dumb things your buddies do.  The qHD display makes all the difference in terms of the visuals you get.  The screen covers pretty much the entire face of the unit, and a pop-out antennae will help you get everything you need in terms of content.

Where is all of this heading?  It’s going straight up, in my opinion.  I realize you aren’t here for my take, but all in all, we’re getting mini-HD TVs in our handhelds, these days.  Sharp has really hit one out of the park, as our demo time (though we can’t mention how we got it) proved that this thing is as advertised.  Once they come your way, take a look…I’m certain you’ll be as stunned as we were.

Sharp is still working on getting up to speed with some of the other 3D tech giants when it comes to 3D TVs.  However, they’re releasing the LC-46LE831E which is the second generation of Quattron 3D units.  This 46-inch model continues on the path that the LC-60LE925E began late last year.  Through the use of active 3D specs, the LE831 doesn’t disappoint the “kicking the tires” test.  They have elected to ignore the passive technology because the company remains hardlined in their quest for the best picture quality on the market…even in 3D.

The LE831 is perfect for anyone looking to create a “home cinema” feel.  Sure, you’ll pay a bit more for the active technology, but ultimately, you can see that the experience delivered is worth every penny.  And, while many are trying to “slim” their models down, Sharp is forging ahead with this 34mm deep unit.  I mean, how much slimmer can you get before you start sacrificing quality?

The aesthetic design is sleek and definitely fits the mold of modern 3D TVs.  Touch-sensitive controls guide you through the experience, and nothing made us excited like watching the buttons light up as we touched them.  Nice touch, Sharp!  Ok, that pun was unintentional…  Either way, there is a 40-inch rendition as well, but expect Sharp to release more unit details in the coming weeks.

When FCC paperwork gets filed, it means that we’re going to be getting our mitts on another new device, and when we learned that Sharp’s Aquos Hybrid 007SH had said paperwork, we were surprised to learn that the American market would get getting a shot at it after all.  The clamshell design is nothing new to the cell world, but this is probably going to be the device of choice for those that love Android but want to rebel against bulky smartphones.

With a 3.4” WVGA 3D screen, Android Gingerbread, and a 16.1 megapixel rear mounted camera, this device should be one worth checking out.  When you consider the waterproof body design, those of us that tend to be a little clumsy may find it to be a good investment.  Pricing information has yet to be released, but rest assured, the Aquos Hybrid is going to be talked about quite a bit in the coming weeks.

Sharp is trying to bring the flip phone back.  And when we say trying, we really mean…they’re absolutely doing it.  The AQUOS Hybrid 007SH utilizes the clamshell design that became so popular once we got away from the “bricks” that everyone carried some years back.  However, they’re integrated Android and all of the cool things that made Smartphones the next generation.

With a 3.4” WVGA 3D New Mobile ASV touchscreen, the Hybrid has a 16.1 megapixel back mounted camera that can capture 3D pics and video with 720p recording quality.  Android 2.3 Gingerbread powers this baby, and with WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity, and the AQUOS TV connector, this thing can do just about anything your laptop can. 

Many who haven’t bought into the smartphone game cite the fact that they’re a little too big, and there’s still a huge segment of the market that loves their flips.  This helps to lure them in, so ultimately, this is a great design that will help them capture some of that market.  Well, played by Sharp on this one.  We’ve seen this before with Samsung’s SCH-W899 and Sharp’s previously released SH7218U, but this one seems to be taking things to another level.
