Every year around this time IBM takes survey of around 3000 + researchers. They talk about the new technology of the future. What they think and where is the trend going and surprisingly this year the conclusion is shocking. The researchers believe that a 3D hologram video call is the future.
These kinds of calls will be made from the mobile phones and they will use pico projector technology. Another technologies we can look for is air batteries and they are supposed to last for 10 times more than the existing batteries, then there is heat generation from data centres, computers as well as from home. Some people also mentioned about computer programs which will give more information of traffic and to control smooth traffic.
If we check the previous list then in 2006, people expected instant speech translation which is still not complete and still belongs to future so we cannot assume then whatever they have mentioned will happen by 2015 but it show then in the next 5 to 10 years technology is working on these paths.
