LG’s new set of 3D goggles designed by an esteemed designer will allure CES 2011
Alain Mikli is a reputable eyeglass designer. We all know that LG is a great 3D selling source of HDTVs. LG and Mikli combination gives us a new set of 3D glasses. It is designed with select metals. It features perfect weight balance with the co-patented nose bridge. This enhances the user’s comfort greatly. LG assures to provide these new eye goggles to us at CES next month. Mobile 3D TV from LG in CES -2011
In 2010 CES we saw 3D TVs from all the consumer electronic giants and if you think 2011 will be without any new technology then LG is giving us another surprise by launching mobile 3D TV in CES 2011. The new model from LG can be viewed while on move and will support 3D video playback. The model can be views even if the vehicle is speeding 125MPH. Currently the device does not have any product name and nothing has been disclosed about its portability. Looks like meant for people who are travelling by the bullet trains of Japan where speed is high.

Autostereoscopic screens from Toshiba at CES -2011
Toshiba is ready for CES 2011 with their new auto stereoscopic 3D technology. This time they have bigger screens then their previous 20 inch offerings. They displayed their two models at CEATEC one is of 20 inch and another is of 12 inch. They got big crowd of people who were interested in their glass free 3D television. Company is expecting same kind of response at CES -2011 as they have the same product with bigger screens and few improvements here and there.
According to the President, Mr. Masaaki Oosumi , last they showed their TV to the general public around three months ago and three months definitely long period and people are expecting some major changes . There will be definite change in the screen size and autosterescopic technology will take some time before it clears all its hurdles.
Nintendo is coming in the market with its small screen without glasses but according to Toshiba big screen without glasses will take more time.

What will be there in CES -2011 for 3D TV?
In 2010 at Consumer Electronics Show 3D TV was the major theme as that was the starting year for it. What will be there in 2011 CES show especially for the 3D TV?
According to the interview of the Jim Willcox, Senior Electronic Editor, the important issue in the 3D industry this year will launch of the passive glasses which are light, less bulky and affordable compare to the current shutter glasses. Several new models are already in the market for lower price.

Sony to push their 3D products in CES -2011
Sony has declared that they are going to double their investment in the stereoscopic 3D technology in 2011.
Last year they introduced their new Bravia that is 3D flat panel TV and to give support to the product they started not only creating all other products in 3D but they started 3D movies. Their full concentration is on 3D TV for the current Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The latest from the Sony is a new 3D film ‘The green Hornet’. In CES – 2011, Sony showed the long clip from the movie which introduced the main stars of the movies Stringer, Set Rogan and Jay Chou. All of them even drove the car which they used in the movie and the car had machine guns on it.
According to Stringer, Sony is more strong and profitable today. By April around 50 million TVs will be internet enabled which can be connected to Sony TVs, Play Station 3s and Blu ray players. Today there are more than 60 million registered users of Sony PSP, PS 3 and other devices. As per the Stringers interview Sony is the 3D leader but in the press conference at CES – 2011, Samsung claimed that last year they have already sold 70 percent of the 3D TV in North America.
Sony has introduced the 3D versions of their Bloggie camcorders and revamps its 3D playback devices. The Sony studio is also launching more 3D movies and launching 3net TV channel with 3D shows along with the Discovery channel.
As per the Samsung numbers, they are expecting around 6 million 3D TVs to sell in the year 2011 as against their 1 million in the year 2010. This is very high growth rate but compare to the 3D TV sell it is not high. Sony is launching many 3D models. There will be a definite competition between Samsung, LG and Sony in the year 2011 for 3D TVs.
As per Mr. Phil Molyneux, the new head of Sony Electronic, US the company is looking forward to become number one in Consumer Electronics again in 2013.
Sony’s new HX920 includes the flagship model which is 55 inches is going to use their latest 3D technology. They will hit the market by March this year. Sony has also launched new 3D blu ray play that has inbuilt Wi-Fi networking and Skype.
It also has 3D camcorder that records image in 3D and play back where you can see 3D images without 3D glasses.

Panasonic camcorder launch at CES -2011
Panasonic must be waiting for consumer electronics show as they have kept whole range of products for launching. Teasers were of course there from December onwards. TV and Camera can be called main attraction for CES -2011. Panasonic is ready to launch their new range of the cameras. The product is meant for the high profile usage like full video. In CES -2011, the company is introducing all new camcorders.
The new stock has many new products. They are like HDC-SD40, HDC-HS80,HDC-TM40, HDC-SD9,HDC-TM80 and HDC-TM90. All these cameras which have 1MOS sensor is capable of capturing clips at 1920x1080. Full lot has been designed for handling low light scenarios like a champ and every feature has 28m wide angle lens. It has a strong battery which allows to record continuous 135 minutes. Some of the cameras have touch screen operation also. Different product has different features but the only common thing in all the product is Panasonic has not decided about the price and release date of them.
HDC-HS900, HDC-TM900, and HDC- SD800 are the new products of Panasonic which are also entering the market and all of them have 1080/60p recording. Additionally they have support of capturing 3D if you use CLT1 conversion lens and TM900 and HS900 has manual ring as well. Both these products also have 20x20m and a 3.5 inch touch panel. As per the claim done by Panasonic these products can handle even the professional level video shooting. All the product can record to SDXC /SDHC / SD cards. TM900 some extra features like 32GB internal memory. Optical image stabilizer, Eco mode function and engine Pro processor is there in all the three product. TM900 and HS900 has 5 internal microphones that allows you to record. Do not ask for price and release date as everybody is unaware of that.
They are launching some camcorder as well. The SDR-T70 and the SDR-S70 are on the lean side and has 78x zoomer. All the product gives you optical image stabilization, 33mm wide angle lens and active mode which will help you to reduce blur while zooming. The device stores all the clips on SDHC, SD and SDXC but again the H100 has 80GB hard disk and T70 has 4GB flash memory. This time Panasonic has declared the released date as March but the prices are still not declared by them and maybe by end of February they will come up with the prices as well as schedule of release of the entire group.
CES 2011: Panasonic promises brighter future for 3D plasma TV tech
At CES -2011, Panasonic has claimed bright future for 3D TV. According to them around 32 percent of the TV purchased by 2014 will be 3D TV.
At their press conference Shiro Kitajima, Panasonic company President said that in the current market 3D is unstoppable force as in the near future vast 3D products are going to be announced from all the consumer electronics companies.
All these companies are into big range, small range as well as medium range products of 3D TVs. Panasonic is going to be in 3D business in a big way and slowly every customer is going to end up buying 3D TV for his house whether he likes it or not. The product he mentioned here are TVs, Cameras, Computers, camcorders and blu-ray players.
The new range of Panasonic blue ray that will hit the market in 2011 will have three fourth devices will be 3D capable. Last year they introduced 3D camcorder – HDC SDT750, this year they will be giving 5 new models for the camcorders. The starting price of the camcorders will be $1000.
According to the Panasonic, out of all their new products the most exciting product is Viera Tablet which is the latest version of the companies VT30 range of high end 3D TVs.
Till today Panasonic Plasmas are the best TVs for crosstalk, but the picture is little less dazzling than their Direct LED 3D TVs. As the days at CES progressed we will come to know many more things about the new features of the Panasonic 3D produtcts.
