World’s biggest ultra high definition 3D by LG

‘Display Week 2010’ is the event organized by the Society for Information Display (SID).  LG took the opportunity of showing its new technology which included LG LCD displays which can be used stereoscopic 3D and in plane switching-IPS to improve picture quality.  LG claimed that is the world’s largest 3D display.

LG displayed its 47” 3D LCD TV along with 47” TV panel which will utilize a liquid lens.  This will remove the need of glasses while viewing 3D TV.
Another product from LG on display was LG’s 84” ultra high definition –UHD 3D display.  According to LG this technology is going to be ‘World’s largest 3D display’.  This technology has resolution  3840 X 2160 .  It is 4 times the standard resolution.   There are no other details available of this and LG has not shared any details related to this except that this technology is using polarized glasses.
