Samsung has introduced its 2010 series of LCD TVs, C7000, C8000 and C9000. It is LCD with led so will be known as LED TV. Its C8000 series has been introduced in 5 screen sizes, 32, 40 , 46 , 55 , 65 inches. The finishing of this series has classy metallic along with transparent framework. It has got a thinner look and has included internet TV. Skype is integrated in it to make calls. If you want to make Video calls you can go for optional camera. You can record TV shows to USB memory in C8000. This is the latest feature introduced in the Samsung series. While recording one channel, you cannot see other channel.
It can convert 2D pictures into 3D but quality may not be as good as the original. Samsung has given four legged metallic stand along with the TV and according to them it is a fabulous piece of furniture. The size of this LCD is 8mm and it all the LEDs on the edges of the panel.
LCD7000 is similar to the Plasma model of Samsung. Screen size of this TV is 40, 46 and 55 inches. Plasma had freeview HD access, C7000 does not have that access. Brown finishing is also not as attractive as 8000 series. It is thinner than C8000 with the same kind of stand. C7000 series is identical to the previous model of Samsung’s arsenal –LE40C750.
The series will have built in internet and wireless. Now you don’t need different computers for the internet. Even your TV will give all the information which your computer gives you and that also in 3D technology.
Samsung offers 3D glasses for children as well as for adults. The child version is rechargeable and has blue frame. For adults it is with batteries.
