Panasonic has just released four point-and-shoots Lumix cameras. Lumix camera offers great and very interesting features like ultracompact camera line, rugged camera, and pocket megazoom. There are two most amazing 12-megapixel subcompacts. The very first one is strong Lumix DMC-TS3 which basically involves a GPS in-built feature and the second one is Lumix DMC-FX78, which has a touch screen LCD with brilliant zoom lens.

The DMS-TS3 model also has various other features like a barometer, altimeter and compass, which may be useful for tracking or hiking hurricanes. The DMS-TS3 model is now waterproof to around 40 feet of depth and is able to survive a 6.6 foot drop. Like its predecessor, Lumix DSM-TS3 also has zoom lens that is non-telescoping. These new Panasonic models revealed just a few days ago at CES, these models provide amazing features such as enhanced in-camera GPS, 3D still-image shooting, a combination of button operated and touch screen controls and specially coated and new lens glass that will help in capturing sharp and crisp images.

The DMC-FX78 model has a high zoom compact 5x zoom with aperture of f/2.5. Most point-and-shoots have less wide aperture as compared to Lumix DMC-FX78.  Panasonic again built the same touch screen auto-focusing feature as it built into some SLR-like models, which helps you choose the focus point by simply touching the screen. Both these models DMC-TS3 and DMC-FX78 uses a particular 3D burst mode to capture 3D photos. Both these models store the 3D image as MPO file which can be then viewed on a computer monitor, digital frame or an HDTV. They also have the feature of capturing full HD resolution video. Panasonic also revealed two ZS-series with around 16x zoom. The actual prices of these models were not announced.
