The new scheming Cardinal Richelieu in Paul WS Anderson’s will be the Inglorious Basterds actor, Christoph Waltz. The new movie is 3D version of the old classic Alexandre Dumas tale.
Waltz is an Oscar winning Austrian actor as Nazi colonel Landa in Quentun Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastereds. Today he is a top Hollywood villain. In Michel Gondry’s movie, Christoph is playing the Green Hornet’s arch-nemesis. He will be working in 3D version of ‘The three Musketeers.’
The movie is going to start in September. Another actor who is joining Christoph in a movie is Logan Lerman from percy jackson & the Olympians, the lightning thief. He is going to play the character of the young man D’Artagnan, who has left his house for joining the King of France’s personal guard. All these roles are based on 17th Century.
The three musketeers, Porthos, Athos and Aramis are to be played by Ray Stevenson from book of Eli’s, Luke Evans from Clash of the Titans’ and Matthew Macfadyen from Robin Hood. Role of Rochefort will be played by former bond villain Mads Mikkelsen and Milla Jovovich who is Anderson’s wife is going to play the role of femme fatale Milady De Winter.
WS Anderson became famous because of the series of evil films which are based on the video games where Jovovich played the Zombie-killing heroin. Warner bros, is trying to start a project of Three Musketeers and will be directed by Doug Liman.
