Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger TidesTo Be Released in 3D

Yep, we’re getting another tale from Jack Sparrow.  Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be delivering another preposterous adventure of one of the most loveable pirates to ever hit the big screen.  To increase the hype, the film will be in 3D!

The film is being shot in 3D, so there won’t be any second-rate converting going on here.  The action will be intense, as we’ll have swords seeming to nearly get us right in the face.  Jerry Bruckheimer, the film’s producer, did mention that they had some reservations about bringing all of the heavy equipment into the jungle, however.  Avatar was shot in a studio.  Pirates is on location, so shooting natively in 3D is a bit more cumbersome.

This won’t be the last installment, however, as we’re getting another on the heels of On Stranger Tides.  Bruckheimer mentioned that there’s another screen play on the table, so fans of the saga won’t need to concern themselves with enjoying the “last stand”.  Instead, we’re getting more, and you know what that means…more 3D, more Jack Sparrow, and of course, more money.
