So, are you tired of getting more release date news regarding the LG Optimus 3D yet? Of course you are, but that’s not stopping us from hitting you with some more! Carphone Warehouse has announced that the elusive device is hitting shelves on the 7th of July. That should come as welcome news as we’ve been waiting on this guy for quite some time. Best Buy will be the other outlet in which you can pick up the latest LG offering, though you can expect that to expand with time.
The dual-core, Android 2.2 powered 3D handset has captured the eye of many, but with so many changes in the availability, we started to think it was all a figment of our imagination. 3D smartphones are hitting shelves at an increased rate, and there’s a chance that this could be the cream of the crop. We don’t have one yet, obviously, but when we get one, you know we’ll fill you in.
Graham Stapleton, speaking on behalf of Carphone Warehouse, sure seems pretty excited about the new device and believes that you will be too. “It’s a remarkable piece of technology and I’m confident that our customers will be as impressed and excited as we are.” Those are strong words, and though things may sometimes be hyped, my money’s on the fact that this device will move quite a few units. So, tell me UK-market…are you interested?
