LG Optimus 3D’s UK Release Date Pushed Back to the Middle of July

Well, technology can do this to you from time to time…you wait anxiously for a new device, and the company keeps pushing back the release date.  LG initially said that the Optimus 3D would hit the UK market at the end of April.  Then, we were told that it’d get there on June 6th.  Now, they’re saying that the anticipated 3D cell device will be available as late as July 13th.  Hmm, let’s just say Christmas and get it over with, right?

Other sites like Amazon have been touting several different release dates, but many have just elected to remove the date altogether.  Not a bad idea given the current landscape of dependability, right?  LG has withheld comment on what’s been causing the delays, but rest assured, it’s something involving the integration of the 3D technology.

There’s some speculation that it isn’t a hold up, but instead, LG has been “beefing up” the unit.  3D AR compatibility is one of the rumored additions, but when it does hit stores, it had better impress.  The tech market can be fickle, and when people have been waiting this long for something, they seldom give it a break when they do get it.  So, July 13th it is…for now…we’ll keep you posted should things change…again…and again…and again…
