So, you went to reserve yourself the HTC EVO 3D but no one knew how much it’d cost, right? That’s quite a risk, as they could’ve told you $800. Well, they won’t, so don’t sweat it. Actually, the phone falls right in line with the expected pricing for similar devices at $199.99. Of course, you’ll need to sign up for a 2-year contract for that price. If all that commitment makes you nervous, you can fork over $500 and get the device outright.
If you get your unit through Radio Shack, you can save $100 bucks by trading your EVO 4G or Shift 4G in, getting some much needed value. After all, how many phones do you really need? We don’t know when you’ll actually get your phone, however, as details remain hazy regarding the release date, but they’re trying to lure you with some freebies…
The Black Eyes Peas’ Phenomenon and The Green Hornet will be included in your purchase, so you’ll immediately have some 3D content to check out. How the device will fare without a release date is anybody’s guess, but for the time being, knowing that it won’t be much more in price than any other standard smartphone should help to ease any concerns about reserving yourself a unit. Interested in the HTC EVO 3D? Go have them hold one for you, but if they tell you that it’s going to be two more months, don’t come crying to us…ok, come crying to us…we’ll listen…we’re your friends…
