The 3D gadgets by Sony

There are impressive 3D gadgets available with Sony today. There is wide range of 3D gadgets such as Camcorders, Television and cameras all available with 3D effect. Today people love to use gadgets that are of new and advanced technology. So what is better than experiencing 3D products? For the visual technology the 3D will be the next frontier as the manufacturers of video and audio are trying to introduce new techniques and add new features in the products. Comparing the other electronic gadget companies Sony has the best 3D gadget collection available. So people have more options in 3D products to choose from.

Sony sells the products of 3D and also produces these products as well. For the content producers the 3D products are known to be the benefited deal in the business. From the content of 2D the gross margin in 3D are two times higher. Now the producers for the 3D films have developed the subtle way to produce. Making 3D movies was known to be difficult and expensive but now it is not expensive and also easy to produce. Users will always pay little extra to buy 3D instead of anything else as this does not distract from the story and you will enjoy watching the 3D movies with clarity.

In the difficult times the 3D technology can be hard to swallow. As 3D products does not come cheap so most people will not be able to afford to buy such expensive product. So in that case the 3D manufacturers will have tough time in selling these products. Most of the people will not be willing to pay extra amount and also want to get the benefit of the 3D so they will ultimately wait for the price to go down.

Glasses are the major issue for most of the people. From the year 2010 the LCD glasses are being used to manufacture the 3D systems. This active LCD glasses make the product expensive for most of the people to buy. The manufactures thought of using the glasses that are cheap and so they have started using passive type of glasses. These glasses will work with any systems other than the 3D.

Sony is known to be the best gadget brand compared to the other companies. The 3D matches every single aspect in the visual life. This is the reason for Sony to be obsessed for 3D.

NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2011 / PR Newswire/-- Thanks to the advanced marketing of technology of 3D display by LG electronics, once again Marc Bouwer created a history by introducing his Fall collection of 2011 first time in the 3D video at the invitation of the fashion designer, the show was featuring model Selita Ebanks in Victoria’s Secret in New York City at SOHO House on the Sunday night.

The Commercial Displays Division of USA LG outfitted the screening room of SOHO House by the LG’S CF3D projector, which use the style of movie theater 3D glasses and allows the VIP as well as celebrities to fully experience the incredible collection of Bouwer in bright, clear and crisp 3D video. The stylish, premium as well as luxurious polarized glasses of 3D was provided by Marchon3DTM Eyewear for the show. The complete fashion show was shot as well as presented by Bravo Media.

Bouwer said last year we were cleaned out with the quo status just by introducing the show online and this year we had planned for the 3D show which will push the envelope forward. American couturier said the projector by LG offers good 3D technology with good picture quality as well as clarity which allowed me to present my latest line by an immersive experience.

CF3D – Provides theater experience at home

In the world LG’s adaptable CF3D is the first full high definition 3D projector dual engine with single lens featuring impressive brightness rating that is of 2,500 ANSI-1umens for viewing the 2D and for content of 3D it is 1,250 ANSI-1umens plus 7,000:1 contrast ratio.

The other projection systems of 3D use two projectors that mean one for one eye. The CF3D has got 2 engines for projection which is built in single unit, it reduce the size and space required for displaying the 3D content from one projector. The improved system based on LCOS creates the perfect polarized stereoscopic picture pair in the unit and for brightness it projects the 2 images together. The CF3D projector lowers down the ghosting through advanced and more active polarization, which results in the 3D content that has got advance resolution and better definition. For viewing the 3D content, a disc player of 3D Blu-ray and a silver screen is needed which is sold separately.

Vice president of advanced technology, LG Electronics, Dr. Nandhu Nandhakumar said “The action and excitement that 3D brings out of the screens of a theater is revolutionizing the way we all seek and view entertainment.” and “Our connection with Bouwar’s show is the proof to the development of 3D in the new markets to establish an unique experience anywhere you see or look.”

Now LG is coming out with its new 3D phone. LG planned to launch its Optimus 3D phone on February 14. The basic line of LG for this new 3D phone is that it plans to take us into a new dimension. The name of the new 3D phone launched by LG was found on a Dutch Web site and later got removed. Now finally the wait is over for this new LG Optimus 3D phone. The phone was officially released at this week’s Mobile World Congress. No proper information was provided before the actual release date of phone.

The basic questions arises is how much exactly this feature will cost? Will it be worth the cost? It is quite hard to find information on a product that is totally kept away from the people. As we all are aware about this 3D technology, you must be excited to see what special and different LG will provide us. 3D technology always makes us excited and the idea to view 3D without glasses on a phone sounds interesting. LG is one of the largest multinational companies famous for its products.

The company has gradually enhanced its all smart phones line up over the past few months. The new Optimus 3D phone launched by LG has a dual core processor and there are no other competitive phones available that can say that. All the 3D phones released on February 14 were not as good as LG Optimus 3D phone. LG 3D Optimus phone has dual memory and dual channel support. If you are really looking for a 3D phone then this 3D Optimus phone is something to keep an eye on. In other words, this is impressive without making use of glasses you can enjoy 3D content. I am so looking forward for this 3D Optimus phone as it has so many interesting features.

HP Envy 17- HP’s 3D-capable laptop

HP has maintained its position as one of the top manufacturers of the best laptops in the present market that can replace desk tops, with its Envy range of superior laptops. Along with the other 3D capable laptops in the market such as the Lenovo Y560D and the ASUS G51J-1B, the HP 17-1190N from the Envy range offer as excellent quality of 3D display.

Design

The Envy 17 3D has been designed in an attractive way by HP. It has a sleek aluminum body which is quite similar to the Apple MacBook’s clean lines but a champagne coloration has been added by HP which is known as Carbon Relic. This laptop also possesses a delicate texture around the palm rest and the lid. The full sized keyboard is quite nice and has a chiclet style and integrated with a numeric pad. The keys offer the users with smooth motion and firm response. Moreover, the keyboard in this laptop is available with a backlight structure which vastly enhances the usability of the laptop in the dark. In the previous HP laptops the multiple touch click pad was quite problematic, but the company has worked on this for avoiding this drawback.

The screen that is 17.3 inches wide is a great feature and provides a resolution of 1080p. This screen uses the 3D display technology known as Ultra Bright View, which not only makes the pictures bright and clear but the brightness is also increased for compensating for the dimming influence that happens while watching through the 3D glasses. Wonderful display is offered by the larger screen.

When the Envy 17 3D is closed, its length is 16.38 inches and width is 10.83 inches. Although the laptop is slim and in its thinnest its depth measures 1.25 inches, it is still quite bulky. CDs and DVDs can also be read and burnt by it. People who do not like the tray loading drives will love the optical drive present in the Envy 17. This is quite identical to the drive present in the MacBook Pro of Apple.

The laptop can be connected to a High Definition television or an LCD monitor with help of HDMI outputs, Display ports, VGA and EyeFinity from AMI which supports multiple monitors. With the help of 802.11n WiFi, wired Ethernet and the Bluetooth connectivity, it is quite comfortable to get online. The True Vision High Definition Webcam provides highly clear picture which is great for people using video conferencing programs such as Skype.

The 640 GB hard drive of the HP Envy 17 offers enough space for storing all your media and games. The external hard drives, however, will take the advantage of the fast combined eSATA/USB port as well as the 3.0 USB port. In addition there are two 2.0 USB ports which can be used for peripherals which do not require quick transfer of data. There is a multiple card reader that helps in pulling contents from a wide range of card formats such as SD, XD and MMC.

The Envy 17 also comes with some useful programs. These include Adobe Elements and Adobe Photoshop which is combined package of tools that are used for photo editing. This can help anyone from an amateur to a professional. The Beat Audio program offers enhanced audio quality as well as helps you to change to various audio profiles. It has equalizer settings which are designed for creating the best quality of sound while listening to music, watching movies and playing games. Along with the integrated speakers it also provides highly impressive audio.

Performance

The Envy 17 3D from HP has several powerful elements. It has an Intel quad core processor which can help in performing the most complicated tasks of computing. Moreover, the performance is improved by a DDR3 RAM of 6GB. The processing ability of this laptop is powered by the Mobility Radeon of ATI which is a powerful graphics card. With this the laptop also offers a superb gaming experience. This impressive laptop will be great for the 3D enthusiasts who require much better entertainment and 3D experience in their computers.

Comcast is one of the leading entertainment, information and communication providers and broadcasters of the nation. Comcast have always been pioneers when it comes to adopting new technology for the future. Comcast has brought great broadcasts from others as well as original shows from their subsidiaries NBC and Telemundo. Now, they’re taking it one step future, leading the pack into the future with their venture into 3D broadcasting.

We saw DirecTV bring out 3D broadcasts over the last few months, and Comcast jumped on the bandwagon with all they’ve got, pushing out 3D broadcasts like nothing we’ve ever seen before. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that they’ve introduced Xfinity 3D to rival DirecTV and their 3net services, which was launched along with their native n3D network and ESPN 3D. Right now, subscribers have the liberty of going through what’s playing, which is mainly just documentaries and some CG shows, the channel will take off officially with the 20th February broadcast of the 2011 Tim Horton’s Classic outdoor NHL game. The match is between the Calgary Flames and the Montreal Canadiens. After the game, there will also be the official broadcast of the King of Leons concert, straight from Germany. It certainly does look like 2011 will be the year of 3D. In 2010, we saw a few 3D events being broadcasted to homes, but that was by no means enough. Now, it looks like more players are joining the game, and TV slots are starting to fill up.

In their press release, Comcast has announced that they have plans to continue bringing broadcasts of concerts from A-list artists, sporting events all over the world, and 3D movie broadcasts, and some original 3D programs as well, straight to that huge 3D screen in your living room.

Some of Comcast’s plans for Xfinity 3D include bringing their subscribers 3D documentaries of African safaris, ocean shows, haunted castles, dinosaurs, and outer space, to name a few. They’re also planning a few original Comcast documentaries that revolve around subjects like rhythmic gymnastics and Chinese dragon dancing, and other such special events that aren’t as frequent.

Xfinity 3D will bring the latest flow of 3D broadcasts to homes, adding to the likes of HBO 3D Video on Demand, which Comcast launched a month ago, bringing movies  in 3D.

Comcast have already conjured up a partnership with Augusta National Golf Club to take 3D sporting events to the next level, bringing the Masters Golf Tournament to living rooms in 3D last year. They were also successful in bringing great social  events  and a few classic sports events. On the movies front, they brought hits like Bolt, Chicken Little, Despicable Me, Clash of the Titans and the Last Airbender among others.

Olympus releases new camera line including 3D picture capability

The E-PL1 quickly became one of the most popular compact cameras around, but when Olympus publicized the release of three new point and shoot designs, the world took notice.  Their SZ line is releasing the 30MR and the 20, both offering standard camera action.  But, for those of you who tend to be adventurous and need your camera to be adventurous too, the TG-810 has a “crushproof” design that can take about as much excitement as you can.  Why is this such big news?  Glad you asked…

The new Olympus models can take 3D stills via an angle technique that has raised some eyebrows.  By taking 2 shots of the same still from different angles, the resulting photos give you a 3D memory of anything you encounter.  With an Automatic and Manual 3D option, the device will actually let you know when it’s time to pan.  If you’re an expert 3D photographer, you have the control you want.  If this is your first dance with the technology, the Automatic mode will pan for you, snapping with perfect timing to give you 3D photos that will stun anyone checking out your vacation photo gallery.

When it comes to 3D technology, seems that everyone is crashing the party, and Olympus just snuck in the back door…
