Sony has launched its huge 3D TV marketing campaign, intending to continue its 3D source. It also has made announcement that it would get some 3D oriented firmware updates for the Play Station 3 gaming console.
If you are an avid gamer, you will be happy to know that the firmware update will be available in September. This update will allow Blu-ray 3D playback on Play Station 3. It will take the functionality of the game console to the next level.
Mick Hocking, Senior director of Sony, Europe announced that they will introduce other 3D oriented updates, which include 3D rendering for photos, 3D on YouTube clips and 3D broadcasts on Sony’s PlayTV service.
If all the updates get the 3D gaming right on the console, the Play Station 3 will be the best product offering ultimate 3D home entertainment experience.
