Panasonic announces price on the new Lumix
Panasonic has earned the right to not be questioned, but it still perplexes many that they continue to release items without giving consumers the expected price tag. We read the descriptions online upon release, get all excited, and still have no idea where we stand when it comes to budget. Is it brilliant? Maybe… Is it shady? Definitely maybe… Does it work? Absolutely…
However, the new Lumix family of cameras from Panasonic has completed its public identity with the newly released retail cost suggestions. The DMC line including the ZS10, ZS8, TS3 and FX78 all retail from $299.99-$399.99. Ouch! However, any selection from this line with the exception of the ZS8 will give you beautiful 3D capabilities. With all of the press 3D technology has been getting lately, I’m sure the price tag won’t hinder those that are hell bent on getting one.
Panasonic usually doesn’t disappoint when it comes to electronics, but the determining factor for many consumers at the moment relies on the product’s price point. But, the best technology doesn’t come cheaply, and those wanting to get in on the next best thing have to pay the piper…
