Sony’s new surround system makes 3D simple

Sony has introduced 3D enabled home cinema systems, which have the ability to send and receive 3D Blu-ray video signals.

Many home cinema system owners experienced a problem, irrespective of the specs. The HDMI inputs on their amps are not able to handle the 3D signal from the blu-ray and send it to a 3D friendly screen.
It is happy news for all home cinema enthusiasts that Sony’s new product line consists of two surround system that comes with amplifier combination. The HT-AS5, HT-Af5 and the BDV-470SS along with a 3D Blu-ray player is a complete system that offers an excellent home theater experience.

The 3D signal received from the Blu-ray deck is provided to the 3D screen through the home cinema system. It allows the amplifier to decipher the audio formats sent by most of the 3D Blu-rays.
The system is powered by a 1,000 watt digital amplifier, which is packed in a hidden control centre.
Sony’s surround system includes some other amazing features like auto calibration, 7.1 channel LPCM compatibility, dual optical coaxial digital audio inputs, audio return channels and digital cinema sound processing.
The front and rear channels use compact speakers. The HT-AS5 use the same speakers, whereas the Ht-AF5 has left and right channels that can offer bigger sound.
The all in one package of the BDV-470SS features a 3D Blu-ray disc player and a HT-AS5 surround sound system. DLNA multimedia networking and Sony’s Bravia internet video platform are other helpful features.
You can buy the HT-AS5 for 400 pounds from Sony’s online store. The other two models are yet to be released in the UK and the prices of those models are also not yet announced.
